JD has done outside work besides freelance work with Stingray Grafik.
Until recently he worked for a small design company called Inuendos. “At Inuendos I designed car wraps, signs, business cards and all sorts of interesting things including WordPress websites. I even have lent a hand in installing some of these graphics in their respective forms.
It was a good experience!

The actual directional sign at work!
The sign I designed for Ash&Ember. This sign was team worked as far as it’s final execution. It was to be lit which was pricey, I had the idea to make it in-house with plexiglass with frosted elements on standoffs, the production manager suggested lighting it from behind and using translucent vinyl lettering in black. In the end we came up with a sign that looks almost painted on in the day and saved Ash & Ember some scratch!
Joe sells hand blended tobaccos and required labels. This design is based off of my Ash&Ember sign design and the business cards.
Ash&Ember is ’round back so a directional sign shows foot traffic where to go.

The back of the Gift Certificate seen in the first picture!
A gift certificate designed by me… no, printing it won’t help you, it will need the signature of the Proprietor or his agent.
Here is the completed vehicle. It finished pretty well with only minor variation.

I did this design very recently for a local Corn Maze. It was fun to reinvent the signs. They were not happy with their original main signs so I created this one. Note how I used maze parts from their actual maze and used green and yellow . The maze begins to look like corn kernels and the colors reinforce that this is a corn maze!
Here are the rest of the signs for the Ozark Corn Maze. I reused the font from last year in conjunction with the font from the new sign so existing signage would fit with it. Last year is was predominately black lettering on white. I added color to some of the signs to add some fun to this family friendly corn maze attraction. They seemed to like what I designed and they were great to work with!
This was a business card I designed with good customer direction. He knew just what he wanted and I hope I delivered it!
This sign was fun to design and is for a local company with its history right here in North West Arkansas. This is a 24″ x 36″ sandwich board sign.
I designed this flyer for a recent event to raise money for our town’s Veterans’ Memorial. There are several family members who are Vets so this meant a lot to me to help create.
